In principle, you can visit the Careum websites without providing any personal information. It will not be possible to trace this information back to you.
In certain areas, you will be asked to voluntarily provide data (e.g. name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, information and services of interest, etc.) for the purposes of contacting you.
You will have to provide your details when placing orders or registering online.
No disclosure of information
Your personal data shall not be sold or shared with third parties outside Careum. Exceptions: external service providers handling your enquiry or order on behalf of Careum and processing the data required for this purpose. It is guaranteed that all organisations receiving data shall comply with the data protection and data security requirements.

Use of analysis data
In order to better adapt the content structures and navigation mechanisms of the websites to the needs of the users, the page views and the clicked elements within the pages are logged and analysed. The software Matomo is used for this purpose. Matomo uses so-called “cookies”. The usage information generated by the cookies, including your shortened IP address, is not forwarded to third parties, but stored on Careum servers or on servers of the hosting provider OpsOne (computer centres in Switzerland) for the purpose of usage analysis and website optimisation. The IP addresses are immediately anonymized during this process. Therefore, it is not possible to assign the evaluation results to a specific IP address or to carry out a personal behaviour monitoring.
The blogs published at https://blog.careum.ch reflect the personal opinions of the bloggers and not necessarily the views of Careum.
